A bit of history...

So to start off this blog I was thinking of telling you a bit of the westies history.

Westies were bred to work in factories, they would catch mice in the factory and they were perfect for this because they could crawl under shelves and fit in small spaces to get to the mice. There have been many different breeds of them over the years but they are now the breed we all know and love! The reason for so many breeds is the fact that lots of people bred westies, but Edward Donald Malcolm started to develop a white terrier first making him the creator of my favourite breed of dog.
